New Beginnings

After 10 years, 6 month and 5 days, we have closed the doors of our coffee shop.  The last day was Friday, June 19, 2020, and what a day it was.  Bitter-sweet flavoured, just like really good chocolate.  Tears were dropped, sweet thank yous and good byes were said.

All these years we served the best coffee we could find with the sweetest smile we could offer.  We want to express our deepest gratitude to all of you who appreciated our offerings.  Thank you for all of your support, for your smiles and hugs, for your patience and honesty, for lessons both business and life.

The last 10 years were wonderfully rich.  We changed the name of the shop twice, messing with everyone's heads.  We were probably asked: "are you the new owners?" a thousand times!  We offered our space to local artists, hosted poetry nights, had great music events, made countless drinks and probably baked a million cookies.  Business meetings were held, friendships were formed and supported, dates were enjoyed, exams studied for and assignments completed.   For some it was a home away from home, for others an office away from the office.

And now it is time for a new chapter.  We will continue offering organic fair trade coffee beans and loose leaf teas through our online store.  We will also continue to grow and expand our catering business.    We are super excited for our new catering menu which we are working on right now.  We look forward to meeting you again in a new setting.  So, it is not a good bye yet, it is a new beginning.

If you would like to come into the space one more time and maybe say farewell or see the mural one last time, we will have the doors open on June 27th and 28th from 10am to 1pm.
